Create your own simple winter bonnet. A plain sc rectangle folded at its center row; one row-end side is seamed as the back. The opposite row-end side stays open around the face. The first and last rows form the two bottom edges.

Included: one printable 4-page English PDF using US crochet terms, with materials, gauge, three adult size options S/M/L, stitch-count checkpoints, assembly and adjustment guidance. Skill level: adventurous beginner.
Sizing: Adult S (M, L) development targets: panel front-to-back depth 23.9 (26.1, 27.8) cm and folded height 20.9 (22.7, 25) cm. Use these dimensions and a trial fit, not head circumference alone, to choose a hood. Open front, no under-chin closure.
