Clear instructions for each stage

English instructions in US crochet terms, materials and gauge guides, stitch-count tables, diagrams for the two mirrored panels, shaping, seams, folded cuffs and hanging loops. The bobble pattern explains the special stitch and where to place it.

Choose your yarn and size

Use worsted-weight yarn, with 4.5 mm and 5 mm hooks as starting points. Full stockings are planned at approximately 18 in / 46 cm tall; minis approximately 6 in / 15 cm, including their folded cuffs. Swatch in the specified stitch and adjust your hook to match gauge. Yarn, tension and finishing affect final dimensions.

Best suited to crocheters comfortable with basic stitches, increases, decreases, counting rows and simple sewing. The two flat panels are joined around the outline, then finished with a separate ribbed cuff.
